Write and tell me what you think of this game. Any ideas for improvements,
errors found, etc. (If you would like to have one with different graphic
ie CGA or maybe Tandy. I should be able to provide one). My address is
19410 Manchester Drive, Bristol, Va. 24202.
This game of solitaire is based on the Klondike version. In which 7
stacks of cards with 1-7 cards are dealt. The top card of each stack is
placed face up, and the remaining cards are placed face down in the draw
pile. The player must arrange the cards in order from King to 2 alternating
between a red and a black card or vice-versa. When a card is reached in a
stack that is face down, it may then be turned face up, and moved into
play with the other cards. Kings may be moved to any empty stack either
from another stack or the draw pile. When moving cards, except from the
draw pile, all cards under it (From that card to the top of stack) are also
moved. The 4 stacks at the top of the screen are the final position for
each suit of cards. They begin empty, signifying only what suit should be
played on them. Begin by placing all Aces in the appropriate stacks.
From there, proceed to the 2's, 3's, 4's etc. until all 4 stacks contain
every card of every suit from 2 to King. When this is accomplished, the game
is over. Note: Only one card at a time may be moved to the stacks.
History:
1.0 Decided to write a card game in Turbo pascal.
1.1 Fixed the problem of placing cards.
Fixed sound problem (It would sometimes not shut off)
1.2 Fixed card shuffling.(On rare times the card shuffling would stop)
Fixed arrow selecting.(
1.3 Minor maintance, nothing really changed.
(Changes the size of the cards)
1.4 Release to public, ( Yes it is does display a T instead
of 10 for ten).
1.5 Minor maintance (It now displays a 10 instead of T for a Ten)
Added checking routines.
